Drama and Maps

I learnt in maps with Jenny that all the green spots on maps are parks, land, also paddocks or fields.  The white bits are blank areas, the brown is contour line,s and the black bits are man-made objects like trains,  cars,  houses,  railways and much more things.

We looked at the Christchurch map and Invercargill maps too, and talked about what all the colors meant. I also did P4C with Jenny and we talked about "are impossible things possible?" I thought yes, maybe in a couple of years it could happen, and who can't say that some things that are not made yet are not impossible to build.  We were talking about cars and what might happen to them in a couple of thousand years. Most of us thought that there could be cars that fly and have roads in the sky.

Then we had a little quiz about what things could be impossible and impossible.  Who says you can't be rich and famous when you grow older?  I think you can and also be a famous scientist or actor or even a famous sport player. Also at Drama we were practicing our solos with Fly Like An Eagle and learnt a new song.  The singers were GoldenHorse. It is really cool. I have heard it before too. We sang it three times and then twice without our book and I hope to sing it again soon.

DRAMA

My I am so happy! I did my monologue as Alice in Wonderland. I was so excited that I got the nerves and I was bursting. But, I got through it and with my friends help. I got a little bit stuck part-way through, so they helped to prompt me what my next line was. I succeeded and was happy with my performance. I have one more thing to tell you guys. I am going to be a princess for a disco tonight. Oh, and also I LOST AT CHESS. But, there are always other times to beat people at chess. I am leaving at 1:30 today, to go to my school assembly BUT..... should I tell you, (as long as you don't tell anyone else), the Friday group for science (which I'm going to miss), is experimenting with dry ice today. MY BREAKFAST?

For my breakfast, I was a plate! On my plate was an egg and two strips of bacon! Yum! Yum! Yum! But wait, they are not real! They are my friends. I know what your thinking... You're thinking "What does she mean?"

Spatial drama. That's one of the activities we were doing. We were just pretending to be a breakfast of bacon and eggs. Bacon and eggs can't be my friends! This is how you play. You get a group of people, and someone calls out an object. You and you group have to communicate to make that object using yourselves! That was a new activity today!

Allice in Wonderland

Wheres Mr Rabbit? MR RABBIT where are you - oh there you are. Today for drama I was doing Alice in Wonderland monologue.  I love the movie Alice in Wonderland because it has a lot of adventure in it. I am Alice and I am following Mr. Rabbit in to Wonderland when I fall into Mr. Rabbits hole. I thought I was going to fall through the earth - it was so deep and cold and also scary. I am curious about what Mr .Rabbit is late for. So I follow him into his rabbit hole.

Creeping creepers

 Welcome to creep news I am going to talk about creepers.  I am Principal  Perfect and I just learnt a new game today in performance and I would like to show you.
I call this game Creepers Creeps. It goes like this.... someone has music and you have to do a dance or anything you want to do and you have to go back to your chair in character.  so i also have another game you have to count to ten  but if people say it together you're out and the whole group has to start again

What am I talking about BOSS IN A PARK? Well I can tell you.

Now that's what I am talking about. Now let's get on with it.We  went to the animal's playground,  the Japanese gardens,  and to the cactus and the plant centre. What a day! We found heaps of patterns that fitted into beauty/strength/order/survivability. Well I forgot to say we went to the awesome Queens Park.
